Michelle graduated with her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from Latrobe University in 2009 and has more than a decade worth of experience in neurological rehabilitation across the continuum of care. She developed her passion for neurological rehabilitation at Eastern Health, working at the Box Hill Hospital Stroke Unit and community rehabilitation team at Wantirna Health.
Michelle then joined Alfred Health on the Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) unit at Caulfield Hospital from its inauguration. There, she spent time working in the ABI unit Inpatient Rehabilitation, Transition Living Service and Community Rehabilitation teams. Most recently, she has been the senior clinician and stream leader at the Alfred Hospital for the Neuroscience and Trauma Occupational Therapy team.
Michelle has a passion for collaborative, evidence-based practice, supporting her clients to maximise their independence, integrate back into the community and achieve positive client centred outcomes.
