Jo is a qualified Occupational Therapist with over 20 years experience in hospital and community based settings. Jo completed her training in 1993 and pursued interests in neurology and multi trauma rehabilitation in Geelong and Melbourne. Jo is also a qualified OT Driving Assessor and completed her Masters Research focussing on Occupational Therapy Driver Rehabilitation. Whilst at Epworth Rehabilitation Jo further specialised in Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), adding rehabilitation counselling, vocational rehabilitation, and community based intervention to her practice. Jo continues to work part time at Epworth's Driver Rehabilitation Unit, as well as in private practice.
Jo has a keen interest in neurorehabilitation and traumatic brain injury with experience across many stages of a person's rehabilitation journey. Team work and clinical reasoning frameworks guide Jo’s client centred and collaborative therapy style; drawing on extensive clinical experience, creativity and solution seeking.
