Since completing a Doctorate of Clinical Neuropsychology at The University of Melbourne in 2003, Heidi has been employed in a variety of public and private inpatient, outpatient and community based settings. She worked for many years at Epworth Rehabilitation and The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre as a Senior Clinician and Manager of Psychology. She was on the recent steering committee for research into Post Traumatic Amnesia by The Monash-Epworth Research Centre, has worked in clinical research with both adult and child populations, and has co-authored numerous journal articles in the area of long-term adjustment after acquired brain injury. She is also an Honorary Fellow of Monash University and The University of Melbourne.  

Having worked across the fields of disability, adult and aged inpatient psychiatry, addictions medicine and general neurology, Heidi specialises in rehabilitation after acquired brain injury. Heidi’s main interests are in neuropsychological assessment, education and treatment following neurological trauma, particularly very severe brain injuries, management of challenging behaviours, and decision-making capacity evaluations. She values working closely with the client along with their family, school, workplace, and treatment team in order to achieve the best possible long-term outcome and adjustment.
