Daniel holds a Bachelor of Health Science in Human Movement from Australian Catholic University  from 2000 and a Graduate Diploma for Exercise and Rehabilitation from Victoria University from 2002. He has worked as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist in Melbourne and Northern England for various sectors including government, defence force, public services, disability services, manufacturing, corporate health, private practice, sporting clubs, education, and public and private hospitals. Daniel worked for ten years at The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre as the Senior Exercise Physiologist whereby he developed the Pulmonary Rehabilitation program and the Cancer Rehabilitation program. He treated patients with complex co-morbidities with a special focus on acquired and degenerative neurological injuries, multi-trauma, orthopaedic injuries and chronic disease. Daniel has also served on the advisory board for Victoria University’s Clinical Exercise Physiology program as well as the Victorian Chapter for Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA), where he assisted in the development of the national COPD Online Learning Tool.

Daniel is excited to have recently returned his focus to the community setting, collaborating with VNN practitioners, clients and their families to educate clients and keep them moving through exercise.
