Genevieve graduated from Melbourne University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) and has been working in neurological rehabilitation since 2006. She has worked as a clinician within the brain injury and neurological rehabilitation units at both Epworth Hospital and Caulfield Hospital and in the spinal cord injury unit at Caulfield Hospital.

Genevieve has experience working with a wide range of brain injury presentations, from clients in disorders of consciousness requiring long term tracheostomies, to those who wish to return to high level activities such as running and sport. She has experience in weaning and decannulation of complex long-term tracheostomies and has worked in both inpatient rehabilitation and home-based settings.

Genevieve is a passionate clinician-researcher who is devoted to using current research evidence in order to help her clients achieve their goals. She completed her PhD, titled "Ballistic Resistance Training in Stroke" 2023 which investigated the feasibility and effectiveness of ballistic strength training principles to improve walking after stroke and has published peer-reviewed journal articles in the field of stroke, as well as presented her research at national conferences.
